How To Book Me As A Kink Educator

For organizers or event planners that would like to book me please take a look at my class list below! When you’ve made your selection please email me (unrulynerdgirl@gmail.com) with the dates, times and classes!

As a note, for the foreseeable future I will only be teaching virtually.

Things To Keep In Mind

Compensation

I do teach for compensation. What that looks like (such as a speaker’s fee, splitting ticket sales, by donation, promoting my creative endeavors), is very unique to the group or event. I never want anyone to feel as though I am inaccessible due to a lack of funds, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.

Online Presentations

I usually have a slide show to accompany my talks – a presentation created in Google Docs. I am most familiar with Zoom, but I’m very flexible with the presentation platform. All I really need is the link to access the platform, the time you need me there, and the ability to screen share.

Handouts

I have handouts for most of my classes.  Please feel free to just ask.

Available Classes

If my classes don’t seem to suit what you are looking for, or perhaps need some tweaking for your particular group/event, please do get in touch with me. I am happy to create a new class – so long as it is not too far outside my bailiwick – or tweak an existing class.

little/Big Genre

Length of Time: 1 to 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who have an interest in an ageplay dynamic

Sometimes, even littles need a helping hand to get back onto the proper path – and that hand might need to land on their backsides. We’ll discuss the benefits/disadvantages of incorporating discipline into your ageplay dynamic. We’ll look at various methods of correction, from the physical to the more mental/emotional forms. Love can sometimes hurt, but it should never harm – and what is more loving than providing a little with structure.

Length of Time: 1 to 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who have an interest in an ageplay dynamic

Does hearing “You’ve been a naughty X” fill you with dread or excitement? Perhaps it can be either, depending on the tone, cadence, inflection. In this course we’ll look at the art of scolding – especially in relation to the little in your life (but there are benefits in other areas of the lifestyle). We’ll also discuss other ways to use the aural pathways to excite the largest sex organ we have, our brain. Words can be a double edged sword, bringing both pleasure and pain – and we’ll discuss the possibilities of both.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who wish to gain a better understanding around the genre of age play

A basics course regarding the wonderful world of ageplay – what’s in it for the little, what’s in it for the Big/Caregiver; addressing common misconceptions about age play; how to; expressing vulnerability as well as being clear on what you want; age play archetypes.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who feel that they have Big/Caregiver qualities

A class that looks at what a what a Big/Caregiver is, the qualities – demystifying the archetype etc.  We’ll also examine separating the BDSM role from the age play identity, self care for Bigs, and how to come out as one.  A lot of Big information packed into a little class.

Shadow Work

Length of Time: 1 to 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Anyone who has experienced a dynamic breakdown, or who may want to understand the stages of mourning a dynamic breakdown.

Dynamic breakdowns are usually painful, even when amicable. By understanding the steps in the grief process, learning how to cut ties, and bolstering ourselves with support, we can hopefully move from our emotional pain, to feeling ourselves again.

Length of Time: 1 to 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Anyone in the lifestyle who wishes to become a harder target for predators in the community

By examining shame, and hopefully reducing it in our daily lives, we can improve our self esteem, and self confidence, to make us a hard target against predators. By increasing our shame resilience, we can create a shield to protect us from those who would use our soft spots against us.

Length of Time: 1 to 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Anyone in the lifestyle who may have yet to find their special someone.

We tell each other that there is someone out there for everyone, but what if that isn’t true?  What if we could live our entire lives without meeting that special someone – what then?  Perhaps the next best option would be to plan to live a rich, full kink life, alone – with both joy and satisfaction.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who would like to to physically call forth the relationship they want into their lives.

Using positive visualization, and perhaps a little magic, we’ll discuss how you can manifest the relationship you want in your life.  You’ll walk away from this class with both tools and inspiration that you may start to use right away.

Service

Length of Time: 1.5 to 2 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who have an interest in, or a mild curiousity regarding domestic service submission

A general overview look at what domestic service submission is, what it could be, how it is of benefit to folks from the bottom to the Top.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who are service providers who are just starting out, or folks who might want to add certain skills to their service tool chest

Five (5) service skills to add to your service toolbox that would put you in good stead with many Dominants in the lifestyle. Sure, every Dominant is different, but having a few solid skills, that you have honed and made your own, will make you shine no matter where your D/s journey takes you.

Length of Time: 1.5 to 2 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who wish to engage in a domestic service exchange

If you understand the four (4) affects that can come into play in a service exchange – offering, requesting, accepting, declining/refusing – you are well prepared for negotiating this type of scene, even this type of dynamic. With examples that you can take to heart, you will be able to smoothly navigate the heart of a service power exchange.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who wish to gain a better understanding of protocols in relation to service submission

In this talk we will look at five (5) different service directives, and provide examples on how they might be able to add value to your dynamic – A courtesy, a command, an order, a rule, and a ritual.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who wish to hold a protocol event, or are merely curious about the mechanics involved

We get really excited upon hearing about a protocol event, but the idea of hosting one may be very daunting.  In this talk, we’ll look at what’s involved in planning and executing a protocol event, and we’ll talk about different types of protocol events – a sit down dinner, an afternoon tea party, and a walkabout (cocktail) dinner party.  Along the way, we’ll address some misconceptions and realities surrounding protocol events.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who find it difficult to accept/receive service – in theory geared towards Tops/D-types, but applicable to really anyone

A discussion regarding accepting service – the mechanics behind it and the nuances of the exchange.  We will also look at some connected or related areas such as giving feedback and management styles.  We will definitely address a few challenges – especially for D-types – vulnerability (asking for help), feeling guilty for asking, and “Can I ask for that?”.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who find it difficult to accept/receive service – in theory geared towards bottoms/s-types, but applicable to really anyone

A discussion regarding accepting service – from the other side of the slash. Why is it so difficult for a service type, or service oriented s-type to accept service? Why do we have certain negative feels when our left side partners or friends care for us when we need it? If we would like others to feel at ease receiving our service, perhaps we need to model how to accept such with grace.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Folx who may be providing service to others who are disabled, or who might themselves be disabled.

A discussion regarding serving someone who might be living with a disability.  It could be related to the physical, or mental, perhaps even emotional.  We’ll also look at providing service when we ourselves are disabled – how does that work?  Possible considerations and accommodations will be examined, as well fostering the ability to extend grace, and employing patience – often times, with ourselves.

General Kink

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Anyone who has very little to no knowledge about this thing that we do.

A basics course regarding BDSM – terminology, the principles behind what we do, what BDSM is and what it is not – what D/s and M/s is – different roles and archetypes.

Length of Time: 1.5 hours with questions

Geared To: Anyone who perhaps may be starting their journey into Dominance, and could use a little guidance, especially from the other side of the slash.

An introductory look at Dominance – what’s involved, what it’s all about, what skills one may want to consider acquiring.  We’ll also look at the basics of power exchange, define the archetype, and become familiar with the lexicon of the role.  Every Dominant is different, each has their own style/panache/flair – but everyone starts with a base line of understanding in regards to their part.

Brown Bag Series on Domestic Service Submission

Remember when we worked in office buildings, and our employers would hold what they referred to as brown bag sessions, or lunch and learns. When you would eat your lunch while learning about some new function or feature at work?

There’s a number of domestic service submission talk topics that are lovely little nuggets of information, but they really aren’t more than say thirty minutes to an hour long in discussion.

Introducing the brown bag lunch and learn series for domestic service submission.

These classes will be self contained little snack sized pieces of the service world, focused on one particular item or subject.

When Are The Classes

When I schedule a brown bag session, I hold the sessions twice on the same week – once that is convenient to the North American crowd, and once at a time that is manageable for folks in say Britain or Australia.

Topics

Upcoming topics include:

The Service CV

Service at a Distance

Determining Your Skillset – Taking an Inventory

Mitigating Service Mishaps

Negotiating a Service Exchange

Service Drop

Sexual Service

and there will be more added I’m sure.

How To Attend

The brown bag sessions will be held via Zoom, and they are by donation. If you feel you have gained value from the talk, you can always buy me a taco.
